Hello, my name is Alex Reedy. I'm a real estate agent in scenic Lancaster, PA. I work with The Shreiner Group at Prudential Homesale Services Group.
I am well versed in both residential and commercial real estate. I work with any type of home buyer or seller. I have been around this business my entire life.
I'm very active in our community. I sit on several boards that provide amazing services in our city. I am involved with The Bridge Housing Program, which is a Community Action Program of Lancaster County that provides transitional housing to women that have been victims of domestic violence. I also serve on the fund raising committee for Gaudenzia, Inc., a non-profit organization that helps individuals with chemical dependency and mental illness. There are four amazing Gaudenzia, Inc. programs making a positive impact right here in Lancaster City. In Lancaster City, as in most cities nationwide, there is a tremendous need to feed and shelter the homeless and less fortunate. I volunteer with a local church, Zion Lutheran in Leola, who goes above and beyond their call of duty by providing free meals to the community on a regular basis.
As I said earlier, I have been around real estate my entire life. It is my passion. My grandfather and my mother are who I give credit to for getting me hooked on the real estate business at such a young age.
My grandfather began as a realtor in 1962. He became a partner in 1964 and in the late 1960's bought out his partner to create his own real estate brokerage. He operated that brokerage until approximately 1990 when he sold his company, but continued to be active in the real estate business. My mother became involved in real estate in 1984 and with me in tow, sold until the early 1990's, when she then chose to stay home and raise her children. Between my grandfather and my mom, I had attended countless real estate appointments by the age of 5. Real Estate has been in my blood since day one.
My wife, Joanna and myself, along with our dog, Sammy currenlty reside in Downtown Lancaster City. We love City Life. The history, the restaurants, the architecture, Central Market, the art galleries and great events make it an exciting city to live in. A First Friday event on a nice evening, we sometimes forget that we are walking around Lancaster City. This city is truly thriving and it is great to be a part of it. There are many top notch organizations that are responsible for this city's success. All of the businesses, government officials, the convention center, and the countless hard working people that reside and take pride in their city.
